Greta is a swedish environmentalist who is only 16 years old. She didn't go by plane because flying is not good for the environment. Just flying to the opposite side of the planet releases about 5 tonnes of carbon dioxide as well as oxides of sulfur and nitrogen, unburned fuel, soot and metal particles. It is expected to double by 2030. The total annual amount of CO2 per year is about 600 tonnes. Aviation is currently the world’s fastest-growing contributor of CO2.
